Why Blog on Pragmatic Conservatism?

Conservatism and its close sister, the Republican Party, have been branded as intolerant, old and out-of-touch. Common sense and pragmatism when inserted into the cultural debate can transform the conservative image and be a rallying cry for all Americans of any race, color, religion, gender or sexual orientation. Conservative ideals do not have to be polarizing. These ideals simply need to be openly discussed and not proselytized.
